part play, part ritual, part installation, The Lower Depths Project was conceived and developed in conversation with Maxim Gorky’s original 1902 play The Lower Depths. In a space where experiences, time and feelings are condensed, a group of people gather together to use whatever tools necessary to make it through the Unfortunate Life.
